All true and VERY scary! It is insiduous and they literally play with your mind and try to make their world your reality.

Wings, they do believe the lies. They live in a make believe world like a child. When you don't play along, they go into a rage. They are also pathological liars.

One more aspect I would like to add...Both men and women can be Narcissists or have NPD. They are highly argumentative, believe others are below them and know how to push your buttons. It is all about control. If you know someone like this, the best way to handle them is not to respond to their goading.

Thank you Blossom for your kind words. :) The last guy, I saw the signs pretty quickly after we became involved. If I hadn't listened to others telling me what a "great guy" he was, it would have been over before it began. I only lasted 1 1/2 months.

Awesome, thanks CurlyNYer. NOONE is exempt from being taken as one of their "victims". The smarter you are, the more challenging the chase. I spent a lot of time trying to understand what I was seeing in the men that I dated, (online). If I could help others from experiencing confusion and blaming themselves, even better. Knowledge is power.
