It's been two years since this guy, least I can reasonably assume that from what you've said. So let's assume that's true, and also let's assume there's been no contact from him in that two years. I think if you really want to see if it can be restarted, it would not hurt for you to make a one off contact to him. Too true! I've lost my friends because of my illness. Instead of understanding why I behave the way I do, they see me as a you know what and one by one they have dropped out of my life and now I have only one. And he is an ex and is still here because I need him to be my carer.
