You're right....I should be patient and really take the time to listen to what he has to say. I'll just make sure once he has said everything that I end the call, instead of him.
Last question of the evening... Do you think I should still send him a quick text early tomorrow, maybe saying, "Hi, I received your voice message and will give you a call this evening?" Then call him later that evening.

I certainly needed to hear that. I'm just reminded of what you said regarding mirroring him... so if he emails me - I'll email him, or if he text me - I'll text him back, and now that he has finally decided to call me - I'm thinking I should call him back, esp. since his voicemessage asked me to call him. But, I will certainly promise to remain Calm, Focused, Sweet yet Firm, and Directly to the Point.
