Sorry, but I have to disagree. My fiance is well over 40 (he's 53 & I'm 43) When we started dating I followed the DWD principals & things went remarkably well. I live with a multi cat
I live with a multi cat family too. 4 live in & 7 are out. I know excessive, but most are spayed/neutered. I'm lucky since I don't have any close neighbors other than businesses. The cats pretty much stay in my island of a yard. The house cats stay in & never go out. Those that I did bring inside converted very easily. I have the luxury of a big house (I think otherwise when time to heat it), so plenty of room for them. I have 2 litter boxes that I clean daily, morning & night.... more
To help your Poinsettia turn
To help your Poinsettia turn red for the holidays, it does need to spend time daily in the dark. My family has kept them for yrs. The best way I have found is to stow it in a closet overnight or cover it with a garbage bag nightly. It needs the daylight too. The newer varieties aren't as hardy these days. The green leaves don't turn red; it grows new red ones. My Mom has one 38 yrs old. It looks like a small tree by now. Don't be dissappointed, but it may "bloom" late, like at St Patty's... more

Just to reassure you some
Just to reassure you some ex's really can be just friends. I'm friends with my ex husband of 16 years. Married for 16 that is. I have NO attraction to him whatsoever, but really are friends. My fiance had problems with it at first, but with much reassureing, he did learn to accept it. I know it is unusual, but better friends than enemies.
