I think you should share that also.  She's old enough to understand financial stuff!   And definitely old enough to help.

As long as we love them the best we can, and do the best we can, we're not letting them down.

I wasn't thrilled with my parent's style and I turned out fine.  My kids will eventually be fine also.

It's just a tough patch.

Yeah, well, my son was irritating me so much tonight (I was trying to talk to him about something he said earlier and he was ignoring me and playing with his phone on purpose) so I ripped the cell phone from his hand and went in the other room and put it in the garbage (he doesn't know where I put it).  That's the cell phone that I totally pay for.
