Mon Feb 15 2010 - 02:31 pm Commented in Understanding Men : THE END OF ITSY NEEDS HELP!!!!

That's right Itsy - they are on their very best behaivor during those first months. It is new - so they are all giddy from the newsness and the prospect that they have met a great person. So you can meet several men who start out that way and make you feel that way - the key is when it stays and it doesn't fade and it doesn't go away - that is when you know you have meet the right person!

There is not way to bypass the heartaches that you will have while trying to find that right...  more

That does seem to be the timeframe if you read these boards. Well my theory is that if I have to play a game and do this and not do that then I am better off without them anyway. I am not a needy, clingy person, I have a great life with great friends, a great job, I am emotionally healthy (for the most part - lol), so I don't need to pretend to be any different.

I think we need to learn from our past experiences. What I am taking from mine and what I have learned about myself is...  more

Why would you want to compete

Mon Feb 15 2010 - 01:46 pm Commented in Breakups : love triangle.NEEDS ADVISE!!!!

Why would you want to compete with someone else and play his little game if that is what he is doing. There is no way I would let myself be involved in a 3 party relationship - that is way too much drama. Do you really want a man who would toy with that you that way? I would tell him that you see he has started seeing someone new and that you wish him the best and walk away.

Come on ladies - look at what you are worth - really would you really grovel to be with a man who chooses to...  more

I think that's why it is important to be with someone who is doing all the right things, within reason of course. At some point you have to ask yourself am I being too demanding, but I don't think expecting constant communication from someone you are in a relationship with is too much to ask - if the relationship is going to continue to progress of course.

You have to be careful to not be to negative though. I believe in the positive affirmations and that negativity breeds...  more

Mon Feb 15 2010 - 10:01 am Commented in Understanding Men : Guys calling and/or keeping in contact

Tiny - lol - I know I still can't get over it. I saved the message I thought it was so funny. Obviously I did not call him. But I did go in and check and he had been on the personals dating site. Wow does that not tell me that he thinks I am nothing but a booty call.

Doesn't want to make plans with me ahead of time - he knew his schedule with his kids when I talked to him Thurs. night - but wanted to call me at 8:30 at night and I am sure he would have asked me to come over if I...  more

Inspiration Story:

"I have been widowed for 7 years and am definitely ready to get back into dating.

...I made my "Vision Board", my "Wish List" of Must-Haves, and posted it on my home office wall, right above my computer screen, where I see it and meditate on it each day.

There is no doubt in my mind and in my heart that "He" will come into my life soon."
