Me again:-) I'm really not sure what to do about this one!

I met a guy a couple of weeks ago and we had a really fab date, clicked completely, like the same things etc...

We had a second date and a third this week, again it all went great he stayed with me and I stayed at his.

When we first met he texted me all day and over the next few days and was even a little over the top!

He said he wanted to join me on holiday, which I agreed to.  I'm still waiting for him to confirm this finally! more

This is one of the saddest stories I've read in a very long time!  :(

And I couldn't help but think why she felt the need to 'surprise' him, like this, especially when he clearly didn't want anything to do with her.

Very sad stuff!

I have not dated in a long long time. I met  my husband at 21 and now i am 43. I read things on the forum about dating and a lot of what i see is frustration, aggravation, depression and despair. To be honest this scares the crap out of me. Is it that bad. Should i just crawl under a rock. Sometimes what i read here makes me want to give up even before i begin. Okay, interesting situation.

Talked to a guy from Match last week.  He has a great profile. We had a fantastic 90 minute conversation that ended in him asking me if I'd like to meet. Lots of talk about Midwestern values, and how we're both kind of fed up with the whole Hollywood flakiness thing, and how he left the industry to go work in the medical field to do something more "meaningful." He was articulate, smart, funny, and extremely genuine-sounding on the phone. more

I dated S. in college. My first love. Loved this man like no other. Dreamed about getting back in together with him for years when i was younger. Then i just wanted to see what he was up to and what became of his life.

short story here. i found him. i called him. he called me back.  we talked. we made a plan to meet in a few weeks as he is traveling. he called me to get together and.... i have not called him back. not sure why. after all these years of wanting to i can not figure out why i am delaying this.  more
