2 years ago xmas was my 1st xmas without my father who passed away in jan of the same year..that night at work i started conversating with this guy (26 yrs old..6yrs younger than me)..he had been in a relationship with Kristin for 6 years..but was unhappy..long story short we started to become sexual and we both felt like there was a reason for us being in each others life..(his father passed away too) so we both felt like our dads brought us together.

 I am newly divorced and started dating again about a year ago.  I met a Soldier on a dating site about 3 months ago.  For 2 weeks we talked every evening for hours on end, I felt close and comfortable with him when we finally met!  It was his 50th birthday, and we spent the entire day together, and yes, we were intimate.  The next day he sent me an email saying "he was deeply in love with another women, but could never have her cuz she was also in the military and oh, he was also still married but going through a divorce". more

I now have a good long distance relationship with talk about the future and meeting the parents that are coming from overseas.

I recently caught him 'lying by omission' about having a dating profile up occasionally. I made it clear that after 4 months, we have been together 6, I deleted my profile as the relationship became physical and my child got his hopes up about being a family. more

 I know a lot of you are of the opinion that if a guy can't put a label on it, he's probably not feeling it - because if he was, he wouldn't have any problems with announcing it to everyone.

For the most part, I agree. But having said that, don't actions speak louder than words? I've been with guys who talked but didn't quite deliver; right now I have the opposite problem. more
