Fixing a Long-Term Relationship
"I Found My True Self AND Put the Spark Back in My Long-Term Relationship!"
"Hi Paige,
A few months ago my boyfriend told me the spark wasn't there
for him and he didn't want to do this anymore. At first I cried
but out of desperation I searched the Internet for some sort
answer and found "Dating Without Drama." It really helped!
I have been on and off with my current boyfriend since we were
15 years old...(long story) we are now 41 and 42 years old and
I have only now got his full attention since I started reading
"Dating Without Drama!"
It all makes so much sense now and I can't wait to share this
with my daughter someday.
I have always been independent, confident, sexual, and a leader
in all I do but I always thought that was intimidating to men so
I always tried to let them feel they were the powerful one the
one in charge and that I really NEEDED them. OOPS!!!
Do I feel so stupid now!
Maybe thats why this one keeps coming back: He really knows who
I am. I just had to show him and it was so easy... I just
started doing nothing and quit trying, I LOVE IT!!! It was
hard at first. Not to call him or stop by his house or question
his feelings, but after awhile he has become putty in my hands.
He calls me to let me know where he's at, who he's with, where
he's going, and when he'll be home. Weird, but I love it!
Ha! ha! ha!
What happened to that "lost spark?" And when did we decide we
were back together? WHEN I DECIDED TO BE MYSELF!
Thanks soo much! I really love him and it feels really nice for
him to want to love me too. And I didn't have to do ANYTHING...
- Kirsten"

PLEASE HELP
I have recently come out of a four year long term relationship. The problem is that due to problems within the relationship. For instance both of us came from different religious backgrounds. Well it caused problems. He wanted to marry me and have kids. We spilt up over five times during our relationship. We were often apart for a few months. However I would always weaken and get in touch with him.
It has been a couple of months since we broke up. the problem is I can not stop still thinking about him. I am trying the dating sites. I am going out with friends and having fun, but I am finding it hard imaging being with anyone else. However I know also that I was not 100% happy when I was with him either?
I do not know what to do.
