DWD 3 MEETUP IN FEB/MARCH 2011, KISSIMMEE/ORLANDO FL

Hi all,

Some of us are considering meeting up in Central Florida in late Feb/March of next year..

Ideas for activities include: Spring Training game in Kissimme (Houston Astros vs New York Yankees), Disney World, and other sight seeing around the Orlando area.

So far the list of those expressing a desire to attend is:

Audrey
Bluebunny
I Have Wings
Misty
Oh Lil Darlin'
ToughCookieGirl

Details of room/theme park/baseball game pricing are still to be determined, but I will be looking into and also requesting assistance from those in Florida or who have connections with the travel/hotel industries..

Would this be over a weekend again do you think as is the usual pattern?? Thing is if it were just for a few days then would be heck of a trip for me there a back.....I'd be jetlagged the whole time

(wow that Lolly dont say much....and how can she sleep standing haha)

If I could combine it with an actual holiday might be a different story, oh well will give it some thought!

Lolly, I was personally thinking a whole week...like Thursday to the following Wednesday and people could come when they could and stay for as long as they could...if some can only do the weekend in there, that would be fine too.

I personally was looking at being there the whole week...

Wingsy, Fall 2010 is probably too soon...that's barely 6 months between meetups...normally, anything more than one a year leads to burnout for conventions/group meetups and there will be monetary concerns for most people.

True and that is exactly why keeping it during the same month or close to it is best. Otherwise, each year will be a different month and that will be crazy to plan for.

Guess I am not much of a planner. I do last minute things. So that being said if anyone at anytime gets close to South Carolina and would like to head to the beach for a weekend, hit me up.
