does he or doesnt he

why would a guy at the beginning of a relationship be asking you if you wanted more kids and would you ever get married again.when you put the question back to him he says the hang cuffs are at home and he would want to safe up enough money first. my problem here is what was this guy fishing for.

Wouldn't say he's necessarily just 'fishing', these are pertinent questions. Some people like to find out important things early on and this can be a good thing. If you're seeking a long-term relationship then establishing any irreconcilable differences right at the beginning can help with 'weeding out'.

For example, if you know that having kids is the most important thing in the world to you then there is little point in getting involved with a man who does not want them, as this is an issue where you cannot reach a compromise.

His response was just a light-hearted one, probably a way of saying 'I might be up for it if I meet the right person'. I wouldn't read too much into it at this stage.

Thanks for that feedback. i obviously got the wrong end of the stick i thought thats what he was looking for .was in a previous relationship that started like that and now im a single parent.
