Also, they have a new train called ACES that takes you straight down to AC from Penn Station in Manhattan. Whatever your preferences, see?

Robin, that is a deal. Grab it! I'm assuming it's R/T with all taxes but don't forget to check the new luggage fees. Go to the air carrier website too before you buy. (I used to be a travel agent)

Worst case scenerio, buitiful, is that the cost you mentioned is accurate. That cost is per room / per night, NOT p.p. So divide by 4.

Transportation will not cost more than $30 p.p. one-way once you are in NY.

I'm in and if one room is $260 for both nights divided by 4 (4 people per room), then that would come out to $65 per Goddess for the room. I think I will fly and will check which airport costs less to fly into.

Ok, I made the reservations at Harrah's for Oct. 23-25
I also e-mailed Sonny and Robin has a copy of that request.

Here goes:
1st room(2 people)is FREE (I'm a Diamond Member)
2nd room(2 people)costs $99 + tx for Fri $159 + tx for Sat.
I put that on my cc. and put in a request for adjoining rooms.

So, far that would be about 455/4 = $114 p.p. for the hotel rooms
(We would split the cost so that it's fair for all.)

If we need any more rooms then we need to add to my reservation.
In the meantime, I awaiting a reply from Sonny...

I live in Clifton, NJ and would utilize the train from Newark Penn Station. Can you please tell me how to connect to the train that that leaves from NY to AC? Or is it a train that leaves from Newark Penn Station that goes straight to AC? I need this trip given my circumstances.

hi Mittens, you take the Garden State South. There are buses from NJ, I'm sure. There must be some info in the local newswpaper. I'm pretty sure there's a bus from Cheesequake but I've never taken it.

Get the BEST DEAL. Fly directly into AC if you can. Talk to Robin. If you come in by noon or early afternoon on Friday that would be fine. Check-in is usually at 4pm.
