I had a second date with a guy last night. Like the first date, we clicked on so many things, we laughed, we joked, we had great chemistry.

And now, I wait. Or rather, I redirect my energy. more

I can admit it. I've freaked out about a guy before and felt the need to text him when I know I shouldn't...even when the Dating Without Drama rules are screaming at me, "Please, put down the phone!"

That's why it's become that much more clear to me what it feels like when I'm on the receiving end. more

As a dating blogger, sometimes I think I must have heard or seen it all in terms of dating. But every now and then, as I go through this dating process, a little surprise appears and takes me off guard. And it makes me want to cry out to women everywhere: "What were you thinking, woman?!" more

If you believe in angels, then you might find yourself calling upon them from time to time—as I do—in regards to a particular love interest. As for which one to call upon, it all depends on what I’m asking. more

If you have kids, you know there are times when you must discipline your child even when you don't really want to, because you know it's for the greater good. In fact, most of the time, disciplining my son is not a sought-after activity. If I have to sit him down and talk with him about things like his misbehavior at school, his lack of respect or his downright bad attitude, it makes me cringe. I would much rather be playing a game or reading with him. However, parenting must come first. And I dare say that this aspect of parenting is akin to dating without drama. more

I've gone back and forth about whether I would date someone who does not have a child of his own. On the one hand, men who already have a child tend to be more understanding of parental responsibilities, challenges and rewards. Yet there are always exceptions to the rule, so I don't want to discount someone just because he is childless. It's just that I've yet to go on a date with someone who does not have kids and have it go anywhere. more

Today, in the midst of cleaning out the "art" drawer and reminding my son for the umpteenth time to put on his shoes and socks for the birthday party we were to attend, there came a simple little text...one that I've been hoping for even while carrying on with my own fabulous, busy life. more

In my last post, I told you about the guy, I'll call him Paul, who called me from a bachelor party in Vegas just to chat. It being our first time on the phone, I was impressed with the fact that he took time away from his friends in what is obviously a high-testosterone environment to give me a call. We set up a date for the following Monday, and now here I am, post-date, having one of those "Should I call/text him?" moments. What's a drama-free dating gal to do? more
