Hi there and thanks for taking the time to read this:)
Í've been hard put to think of anything to write on this blog (on account of never having had a blog before) but here is my first attempt.
As I was reading over posts this morning I was thinking back to when my bf and I were first going out. Things he would do to impress me/keep me happy. I'm going to keep this short and sweet.
I'm a dental assistant and he's a smoker.....and at the beginning (isn't that always the way?) I was very, incredibly, impressed at the amount of toothbrushing and mouthrinsing he would carry out before bed so he could kiss me.
Needless to say....he is not quite to zealous now
and requires prompting!
I realise this is a little lame but next time I'll write about my internet dating experience - it has more substance and was a good learning experience.

Gretel, First I would like to say welcome! I am looking forward to reading more from you.
You know. Its funny that you mentioned the things we do in the Beginning. It seems that now a days when We are in the dating part of the relationship we are trying so hard to impress that person, make that person happy, and go out of our way to show that person what they mean to us,and that we want to take things further, but as soon as the relationship goes from dating to marriage its like both parties stop trying to impress the other person, they stop trying to give and show their love and feelings. Why do people do this I question. If we continued to give, impress, and show after marriage, marriages would stick together! Its funny that you said your boyfriend use to go out of his way after a cig, well My boyfriend must have to, because I didn't even know he smoked until we had been together for 4 months, He wasn't trying to hide it from me, he just didn't smoke a lot, and I never asked if he did so it was never brought up now that I know and he knows it does't bother me (That BAD) he will smoke around me(goes outside)and then brush his teeth or chew gum, but how funny is it that when he wasn't sure if I liked smoking or not he wouldn't do it around me, now that we are talking about marriage and all, the truth has come out....lol.. well I wont keep going on and on. But Can't wait for your next blog.
